Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a services business, recently required by a larger group, in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Warrington office on a very flexible hybrid working model.
Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts for non-core companies within the Group, up to Trial Balance level ready for consolidation
- Managing one junior member of the team currently studying.
- Variance analysis and commentary on monthly management accounts
- Ownership of the non-core business accounting
- Liaising with stakeholders in the business to discuss monthly results
- Ensure intercompany balances for non-core companies within the Group agree
- Ensure recharges are processed timely and accurately within the Group
- Accurate cash flow forecasting on a rolling 3 month period with a 12-month forecast running behind it for non-core companies
- Weekly income summaries
- Debtor reconciliation and management
- Bank postings, reconciliations, etc for non-core companies
- Preparation of all statutory returns for non-core companies - VAT, PAYE, etc
- Statutory accounts production for non-core companies, including all supporting workings
Requirements:
- Part qualified accountant or QBE with 3-4 years industry experience in a similar position
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables
- Experience in using NetSuite
- Experience in using Xero
