Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently recruiting a Payroll Assistant on behalf of a leading service provider, based in Bradford.
You will join a large, well established Payroll team and responsibilities will include:
- Resolving complex pay queries enquiries, issues and complaints, escalating as appropriate.
- Completing payroll transactional processing
- Supporting the management of processing of all payroll credit transfer and emergency CHAPS payments.
- Ensuring that statutory deductions are correctly made and accounted for and that all statutory returns, including those for taxable benefits, relating to the employees, are produced and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Ensure that non-statutory deductions made on behalf of the employees are accounted for and returns, including payment, are made to the appropriate organisations.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant payroll related legislation and statuary obligations.
The successful candidate will have;
- A strong understanding of payroll processes, particularly those relating to the BACS process and company pension schemes.
- Experience of managing complex, high volume pay processes in an efficient and effective manner.
Salary is up to £30,000 depending on your level of experience
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
